The two players are expected to be key men for Tottenham next season.
Southampton's Victor Wanyama celebrates scoring
New Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama is pictured training at Spurs for the first time, as he gets stuck into pre-season training at his new club following his move from Southampton, in pictures released by the club's official Twitter account.
The Kenyan star has already been described as "a beast" by the one player in the Spurs squad to have featured alongside the 25-year-old, Toby Alderweireld, and it's easy to see just see why the Belgian has such an opinion of Wanyama, who looks strong and powerful in the pictures.

Considering it is just the first day of pre-season for the former Southampton and Celtic midfielder, and with the focus Mauricio Pochettino puts on fitness and conditioning, it is likely Wanyama will be even more of an intimidating figure when the season actually begins in August.
Former enforcer Sandro embraced the "Beast" nickname in his stint at the club but it looks like Spurs have a new beast to look forward to seeing in the coming months.
Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen was also back at Hotspur Way for the first time since the end of last season, one of the first of last season's starting eleven to return, with every other player featuring in either the European Championships or the Copa America.
It is clear then that both Wanyama and Eriksen will be key members of Pochettino's squad for the pre-season friendlies, with other players dropping back into the side at a later date.
