Leeds United are set to take Sporting forward Hadi Sacko on loan after the Frenchman joined the club's pre-season tour of Ireland, the Yorkshire Evening Post reports.
Sacko appeared alongside his prospective Whites teammates and management in a photo tweeted by assistant coach Pep Clotet on Sunday.
And according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the 22-year-old will become a Leeds player later this week, albeit on a temporary basis.
Sacko arrived in the Portuguese capital full of promise two summers ago, having signed a six-year contract with a reported €60 million (£50 million) buy-out clause inserted.
However, the former Bordeaux player, who can operate on either flank and as a central attacking midfielder or striker, has appeared just four times for Sporting's senior side and ended last season on loan to Sochaux.
Sacko would become the third signing of the Garry Monk era at Elland Road, following the captures of Swedish striker Marcus Antonsson and Swansea defender Kyle Bartley in quick succession.
The Yorkshire Evening Post also reports that Monk is plotting a second raid on his former club for striker Marvin Emnes.
