The Dutch goalkeeper became Ronald Koeman’s first signing as Everton manager last week when he completed a move from Fulham.

He links up again with Koeman, having spent last season with him while on loan with Southampton.
He has been brought in to provide competition to Joel Robles, with Tim Howard having returned to American at the end of last season.
Monday morning saw the club return to pre-season training as Koeman brought his new side in early to get their preparations for the new season under way and Stekelenburg was among those present, taking part in his first training session at his new club.
It is certainly set to be a busy summer at Everton, especially on the training pitch as Koeman looks to implement his style on the side.
More than that, he will be keen to get to work on the fitness levels of the current squad, with them often having looked out of sorts under former manager Roberto Martinez.
Off the training pitch he is also set to be busy in the summer transfer window, with Stekelenburg not likely to be the only arrival at the club.
