Tottenham Hotspur want to get Vincent Janssen's signature secured as soon as possible, report Dutch outlet Algemeen Dagblad.

The latest concerning their transfer chase is that Tottenham plan to submit a bid of of £16.8 million, which equates to AZ Alkmaar's asking price of 20 million Euros.

Spurs have had their previous bids for Janssen rejected, but he is determined to land a move to the club.

Algemeen Dagblad report that Janssen has informed fellow interested side Wolfsburg that his heart is set on Tottenham Hotspur.

Janssen did not feature in AZ's opening pre-season game, and last week expressed his frustration at the fact his desired move to Spurs had been held up.
