A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur

Athletic Bilbao's Eneko Boveda in action against AZ Alkmaar's Vincent Jansse

According to a recent report from French newspaper L’Equipe, Tottenham Hotspur could finalise a deal for AZ Alkmaar striker Vincent Janssen in the coming days after submitting an improved bid.

The latest report suggests Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a fee with the Eredivisie side for the player but that he favours a move to Spurs, who have sanctioned an offer that could ultimately see the deal over the line.

Ryan Mason celebrates scoring the first goal for Tottenham

In other news, the Sun claims Tottenham are ready to sell Ryan Mason, with Hull City prepared to spend £10million to bring him to the KC Stadium.

Stoke City are also said to be keeping an eye on proceedings with the midfielder seemingly deemed surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane.

France's national soccer team captain Hugo Lloris

The Mirror claims Real Madrid are keen on Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris and may table a £35million bid for the Frenchman.

But considering how well Keylor Navas did last season, and how important Lloris is to Spurs, this one seems highly unlikely.

And finally, according to the print edition of Corriere dello Sport and later published online by Football Italia, Spurs have had a £37million bid rejected by Inter Milan for Mauro Icardi.

So a busy day in the rumour mill, with mixed news for Tottenham fans and plenty more likely to come in due course.
