Paris Saint-Germain have signed Thomas Meunier from Club Brugge.
The French giants have recruited the Belgium international defender on a contract which runs until June 2020, as announced on the club’s official Twitter page.
"My choice is not made yet,” Voetbal Nieuws quoted Meunier as saying. "PSG? There's a 30% percent chance. I will decide tomorrow, there are also offers from Napoli, West Ham and Torino.”
Thomas Meunier’s snub worrying for West Ham United?
While West Ham will be disappointed by Meunier’s decision, it was hard to see him him choose any club other than PSG.
PSG are one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world, and will be aiming to win the Champions League next season as well as clinch the Ligue 1 title.
While the Hammers are a big club themselves, at the moment they are not in a position to challenge PSG for players.
West Ham will play in front of over 50,000 fans at the Olympic Stadium next season and will be aiming for a top-six finish in the Premier League.
