Fenerbahce are reportedly looking to sell Robin van Persie this summer.
Fenerbahce's Robin Van Persie
Both Palace and the Hammers are looking for a new striker this summer, but have so far hit a brick wall in their attempts to splash the cash on goalscorers.
Now, The Sun claim that both London clubs have been offered the chance to sign a former Premier League goal machine - Robin van Persie.
Van Persie, 32, left Manchester United for Fenerbahce last summer, and he hit 20 goals in 45 games in his first season for the Turkish side.
However, it's claimed that Van Persie is keen on a return to the Premier League, and Fenerbahce are willing to let him go if they can recoup the £4m they paid for him a year ago.
Van Persie's representatives are believed to have offered the striker to a number of Premier League clubs, but he particularly wants a return to London having thrived in the capital with Arsenal.
The Dutchman, who hit 132 goals in 277 games for the Gunners as well as 58 goals in 105 games for Manchester United, is a proven Premier League goalscorer and could still have something to give for a top flight side even with his advancing years.
With Palace and West Ham believed to have been offered the chance to sign Van Persie, they must now consider whether they are willing to spend money on an ageing striker this summer.
Do you think Palace or West Ham should sign Van Persie?
