Ross McCrorie is excited to see the two midfielders at Ibrox next season.
The two midfielders are among several new faces to arrive at the club this summer, in what has been a busy transfer window so far.
Barton arrives after a successful season with Burnley in which he played a key role in their return to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Kranjcar meanwhile joins after a short stint with the New York Cosmos in the North American Soccer League.
Both signings have been warmly welcomed at Ibrox, with Warburton having targeted them as he looks to add experience to his squad.
One of the youngsters who may benefit from their presence is McCorrie, and he says he is looking forward to seeing them playing having watched the duo on television in the past.
“As a young boy I used to watch Joey and Niko on Match of the Day, and it will be great when they are up and running to see how they play,” he told rangers.co.uk.
“The quality is rising all the time, and that’s been really noticeable this time around. It’s been a great experience being around everyone.”
It now remains to be seen what kind effect both Barton and Kranjcar can have on Rangers next season.
They return to the Scottish Premiership looking to challenge Celtic for the title at the first time of asking following their title winning campaign last season.
If they are to do that, the experience that Barton and Kranjcar have will be crucial, and Warburton will be hoping that both ultimately prove to be smart captures.
