Newcastle's Jamaal Lascelles applauds the fans at the end of the match
Quoted by the Chronicle, Jamaal Lascelles has sent a warning to his Newcastle United teammates ahead of next season.
The Magpies have been busy in the transfer window in the last week as they completed three deals.
Goalkeeper Matz Sels was the first arrival, before Dwight Gayle and Matt Ritchie arrived from Crystal Palace and Bournemouth respectively.

There was some disappointment though as Andros Townsend departed to join the Eagles in the Premier League.
Nonetheless, there is huge optimism around the club about these two signings and their potential to make Rafa Benitez’s side challengers in the Championship.
Lascelles though has warned that they cannot afford to get complacent as either individuals, or a team.
“What we can’t do as individuals and as a team is get complacent,” he told the Chronicle.
“We can’t go there and think ‘We’re Newcastle United, we’ve got these players and we’re going to walk it’, because it’s not going to be as easy as that.”
Bournemouth's Matt Ritchie in action
It remains to be seen how Newcastle will fare in the Championship next season with the division set to be a highly competitive one.
Aston Villa will be keen to make an instant return to the Premier League, while the likes of Derby County, Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich City should all be challengers too.
There is no denying these latest signings will help to improve them though, and Magpies fans will be to see more arriving before the end of the window.
