According to Spanish newspaper AS, Leicester City and Leeds United are looking to bring Huesca playmaker Samu Saiz to England this summer.

The Foxes are looking to strengthen their squad this summer having won the Premier League title, and with a Champions League campaign on the horizon, they have already made moves in the transfer market.

With one Spaniard already signed in Luis Hernandez, Claudio Ranieri's men could be looking to raid Spain again, with Huesca's Samu Saiz believed to be on their radar.

AS report that Leicester are keen to land playmaker Saiz this summer, having showed promise in the Liga Adelante with Huesca last season, notching three goals.

The 25-year-old, formerly of Real Madrid, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, is a skilful playmaker who can play out wide or as a number 10, and whilst Leicester appear to be interested, they aren't alone.

The report claims that Leeds United are also keen on signing Saiz, with Garry Monk's assistant manager Pep Clotet no doubt aware of some hidden gems in his homeland of Spain.

It will be tough for Leeds to compete with the Premier League champions for Saiz's signature, especially given that the Foxes can dangle Champions League football in front of him, but Leeds can almost certainly offer more first-team football, meaning this may not be a guarantee for Leicester just yet.

Saiz has a contract with Huesca until 2018, but has a release clause meaning he can leave for just €500,000 (£420,000), prompting the interest from Leicester, Leeds and even La Liga sides Las Palmas and Sporting Gijon, meaning a real race for Saiz's signature could ensue.
