Luis Garcia has been impressed with Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen’s performances for Wales at the 2016 European Championship.

Luis Garcia has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his admiration of Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen.

Former Liverpool and Barcelona attacker Garcia has been impressed with Allen’s performances for Wales at the ongoing 2016 European Championship in France so far.

The Spaniard made the following post on Twitter during the quarter-final tie between Wales and Belgium on Friday evening, suggesting that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be pleased with Allen’s displays at the Euro 2016 finals:

Wales staged a stunning 3-1 comeback victory over Belgium at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Villeneuve-d'Ascq on Friday evening to book their place in the semi-finals of 2016 European Championship.

Allen took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 88%, attempted two dribbles, won 25% of his tackles, and made one interception, two clearances and one block.

The Liverpool midfielder has created five chances in five matches for Wales at the Euro 2016 finals so far.

The 26-year-old former Swansea City star has a pass accuracy of 85%, and has won two headers, seven dribbles and six tackles.
