Speaking to Expressen the defender admitted he had briefly spoken to his agent, who happens to be former Blackburn Rovers striker Martin Dahlin, but that his sole focus currently was on the European Championships:
“I think a lot of this team will get a transfer.
“Yes (I spoke with my agent), but only for five minutes.
"(I'm) staying calm, there is nothing that is clear or concrete yet. Focus on the next game instead.
“It is important to keep my feet on the ground.”

Sigurdsson has been one of the stars for Iceland in their progress to the quarter finals of the Euros this summer. He was man-of-the-match in the recent 2-1 win over England, a game in which he scored their equalising goal.
