Sunderland are reportedly keen on a move for the Sevilla midfielder.
Sevilla's Vicente Iborra
The Black Cats are expected to be busy this summer as Sam Allardyce looks to ensure they avoid another relegation battle this summer.
A number of signings are likely at the Stadium of Light as the former West Ham boss takes charge of his first summer transfer window at the club.
Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce reacts
One man they have been linked to is Sevilla midfielder Vincente Iborra, with talkSPORT claiming his form for the Europa League champions last season caught the attention of the Black Cats.
El Desmarque have now confirmed that interest, adding that Sunderland could offer as much as €10 million for the midfielder, around £8.2 million.
However, they may face a fight to convince him to make the move to England as he is more than settled at the Spanish side.
Sevilla's Vicente Iborra celebrates
He feels very valued by Sevilla and is highly regarded at the club, having played a key role in their success under former manager Unai Emery.
Jorge Sampaoli has now replaced Emery though, after he left to join PSG, and should that mean a drastic change in style at the club, then Iborra may be convinced to move on.
