Leeds United are close to the signing of Kyle Bartley from Swansea City in the summer transfer window, according to The Yorkshire Evening Post.
Bartley featured in just five Premier League matches for Swansea last season. The defender created one chance, had a pass accuracy of 79%, and won 10 headers, one dribble and six tackles.
The former Arsenal prospect knows new Leeds head coach Garry Monk well, having worked with him at Swansea.
Bartley is a good defender and has experience, although his lack of regular of football last season could be a concern.
The former Rangers loanee, though, will be determined and hungry for playing time next season, and that can be only positive for the Whites.
Leeds endured a disappointing 2015-16 campaign and failed to finish in the top 10 of the Championship.
