Former Fulham manager Kit Symons has suggested to The Daily Record that for Moussa Dembele to be a success at Celtic, he needs to be managed properly.
Symons worked with the 19-year-old forward at Fulham, and he has suggested that the teenager will be a success at the Hoops.
However, according to the former Fulham boss, new Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers need to manage the youngster properly.
“He needed a little rocket here and there and a cuddle at other times to bring the best out of him,” Symons told The Daily Record regarding Dembele.
“He’s a quiet lad off the pitch but he’s got an air of arrogance too - which is what you want from a striker.”
Dembele is hugely talented and very promising, and he should prove to be a great signing for Celtic.
The France Under-20 international forward scored 14 goals and created 42 chances in 42 Championship appearances for Fulham last season.
During the 2014-15 campaign, the teenager created three chances in 11 matches for the Cottagers.
Celtic will be favourites to win the Scottish Premiership next season, but their main priority at the moment is to qualify for the group stage of the 2016-17 Champions League campaign.
