Leeds have been quite business so far this summer, as they prepare for the upcoming 2016-17 Championship campaign.
The West Yorkshire outfit have signed defender Kyle Bartley on a season-long loan deal from Swansea City in the summer transfer window.
Also on Friday, Leeds confirmed the departure of defender Giuseppe Bellusci on a season-long loan deal to Italian club Empoli.
Earlier this week, the Championship outfit recruited striker Marcus Antonsson from Kalmar FF.
Striker Mirco Antenucci and Scott Wootton had left Leeds at the end of the 2015-16 season.
Former Leeds midfielder Couzens has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the departure of Bellusci and the arrivals of Bartley and Beattie.
All good coming out elland road so far bellusci out and that's the best news new first team coach signings imminent looking good for 2016— andy couzens (@andycuz23) July 1, 2016
@v2Football I like him did a decent job at Accrington and good with the lads so a great choice for me— andy couzens (@andycuz23) July 1, 2016
And now Bartley in as well from Swansea a couple more and we might just have a team that could have a decent season #mot— andy couzens (@andycuz23) July 1, 2016
Leeds are one of the biggest clubs in England, but the Whites have not featured in the Premier League since 2004.
In recent years, the West Yorkshire outfit have become also-rans in the Championship, but perhaps next season will be different.
