Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is said to be one of the favourites to take over the England job.

Celtic - Brendan Rodgers Press Conference

Trevor Sinclair has suggested that Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers would be the ideal choice for England.

With Roy Hodgson resigning, following England’s disastrous Euro 2016 campaign, the Three Lions are now looking for a new manager.

Sinclair feels that England should turn to Rodgers, but he has no faith that the FA will consider the Celtic manager.

Rodgers has suggested that he would not be interested in taking the England job, even if he was offered it now.

Rodgers has only just taken charge at Celtic, and he seems to have big plans for the future at the Glasgow club.

Rodgers has admirers at the FA, but at the moment Gareth Southgate remains the bookies’ favourite to land the England job.
