Tottenham's Danny Rose in action against Victor Wanyama
Tottenham Hotspur recently made a big move in the summer transfer window, with Kenyan international midfielder Victor Wanyama heading to White Hart Lane from Southampton.
The former Celtic man joined in a deal reported by the BBC to be worth £11 million, signing a five-year deal in North London.

The Kenya international captain will however have disappointed many of his countrymen. Arsenal are the most popular team in Kenya and the fact Wanyama has now joined their arch-rivals Spurs will be a downer for many a Kenyan Gunner.
But Wanyama has a simple message for Arsenal fans, change allegiance, as Tottenham are set to conquer North London.
He is quoted by Kenyan website Media Max Network as stating:
“There can only be one big team in North London and it is going to be Tottenham.
“I know there are a lot of Arsenal fans in Kenya but they should now shift their support to Spurs since I will be there next season and I will not disappoint them.”
Last season nearly saw Tottenham finish ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League, but they threw it away with a poor run of form toward the end of the season, eventually finishing third to Arsenal’s second.
However, it was a positive season for the club, with fans certain Mauricio Pochettino has helped to narrow the gap between the two North London sides.
Wanyama it seems is certain that Tottenham can reign supreme.
