The Polish winger is currently shining at Euro 2016.
Jurgen Klopp embraces Jakub Blaszczykowski
Going into the European Championships Poland were given an outside shot by many to progress to the latter stages.
For many the reason behind that belief was striker Robert Lewandowski of Bayern Munich. However, it has in fact been Jakub Blaszczykowski who has proved the star of the Polish show so far.
The winger has scored two goals in four games as Poland made it to the quarter-finals of the competition, where they will face Portugal this evening.

So should Jurgen Klopp aim to reunite with the player at Liverpool?
Blaszczykowski was a key member of Klopp’s Borussia Dortmund side but was loaned out to Fiorentina last term by his predecessor, a move with did not work out for the winger.

But his form for Poland shows that he still has what it takes to perform at the highest level and Liverpool certainly need another wide option.
Blaszczykowski is a massive fan of Klopp’s, with the Liverpool boss giving him his initial chance in the German game and helping become a leading winger in European football.

He would be an affordable and experienced option, with whom Klopp knows how to work. Fiorentina have refused an option to buy the player and Dortmund would surely not be playing hard to get with any potential asking price.
Liverpool would be right to make a move for the 30-year-old former Klopp favourite.
