Rangers target may be heading to South Africa despite strong links with joining up with Mark Warburton at Ibrox.
Rangers face competition in the race to bring Ugandan international Khalid Aucho to Ibrox this summer.
Recently promoted South African Premier Soccer League outfit Highlands Park have been confirmed as also being interested in the Rangers target this summer.

A source close to the player reportedly told KickOff this week:
"The club is interested in the Ugandan international. The talks are ongoing."
Mark Warburton and Rangers looked all set to cast their eye over the Gor Mahia midfielder this summer, after it was confirmed he was set to head to Glasgow for a trial recently by Goal.com
Rangers have now been linked with Aucho’s signature for much of the summer but it does not seem like a straightforward deal – despite the player’s desire to make a switch to Europe.

The Glasgow side, who will be back playing in the Scottish Premiership next season, have been improving their squad all summer. Rangers boss Warburton has already brought in eight new faces to Ibrox this summer – including most recent signing Lee Hodson.
But Aucho remains a difficult target to tie down.
