A happy Massimo Cellino can only be good news for Leeds United.

Massimo Cellino has been a much criticised figure since taking over at Leeds United and in recent months he has appeared quite miserable in interviews.

He told The Times earlier this year he was '’Tired and hurt and lonely' and even ready to sell the club if the right offer came in.

Cellino has since had to deal with more bad PR and cost from tribunals to former staff, and undertaken yet another change in manager.

Many of his problems appear to be self inflicted, but now he appears to be looking a little more upbeat at least, as shown by a tweet from close friend Terry George, a businessman who has appeared on Channel 4 show the Secret Millionaire.

Cellino being pictured with a guitar is significant to his happiness, because last month in a separate interview in Italy, he bemoaned the fact he had to sell most of his collection.

Speaking to La Nuevo Sardegna he said: "I'm always alone. Some days it's fun, others less. No, no more sound and I also sold a large part of my collection of guitars."

He at least has one left, and is enjoying the company of a friend. A less isolated, happy Cellino can only be good news for Leeds United, and could be reflective too of the positive vibes he feels from current head coach Garry Monk ahead of the new season.

For the club's sake and Monk's, all will be helping Cellino's positivity lasts.
