Arsenal have been linked with a surprise deal for Japanese striker Takuma Asano.
Asano is a Japanese international with one goal in five appearances for his country, and is just 21-years-old.

Asano currently plays for Sanfrecce Hiroshima, for who he has scored seven goals in 19 appearances so far in 2016.
The Gunners used to have Japanese youngster Ryo Miyaichi on their books, and manager Arsene Wenger is very familiar with football in the country, managing for Nagoya Grampus 8 before making the switch to the Gunners two decades ago.
Wenger is not currently seen as having the midas touch he appeared to in the late 90s, and his record in the transfer market has come under increased scrutiny over the last few years.
The Gunners have not effectively replaced Robin van Persie since he left the club in 2012, and while Asano is a promising prospect, the links have not exactly got Arsenal fans excited for his potential arrival.
