Glasgow Rangers fans are not enthused about the prospect of Oguchi Onyewu joining the Ibrox club.
Rangers have handed Onyewu a trial, and he has been training with them during their tour of America.
The central-defender has enjoyed a high-profile career, which saw him represent AC Milan, but a series of injuries has halted his progress.
Onyewu has barely played for two years, but he has been recommended to Rangers boss Mark Warburton - who is currently assessing the 34-year-old’s talents.
Rangers fans are slightly concerned about the potential deal, though, and feel that they should be looking elsewhere.
Rangers have already brought in a number of experienced players this summer, and adding another veteran would not go down too well with the newly promoted Scottish Premiership side’s supporters.
If we do sign Oguchi Onyewu then I think a few people in our support will have a breakdown tbh.— Kirst :) (@Kirsten93_) June 29, 2016
Onyewu and Lee Hodson are just so unconvincing— Lew (@Lewisbrown96) June 29, 2016
Onyewu is in good nick but he's 34 & been plagued with injuries all his career— SA (@stuartangus2012) June 29, 2016
Hopefully we pursue Mariappa but can't see that happening
Never questioned potential signings under MW before but not sure about this one. We already have experienced CB https://t.co/sU9oLLZ6nl— Cheryl (@gers_chick) June 29, 2016

Surely Oguchi Onyewu is just training with us in the US and not actually on trial? He hasn't played competitively in 16 months.— Kirst :) (@Kirsten93_) June 28, 2016
Rangers have already made seven additions this summer, with Warburton quickly strengthening his squad.
Rangers have already added Clint Hill and Joey Barton this summer, to bring more experience into their ranks.
