Manchester United have been active already in the transfer market under Jose Mourinho, snapping up Eric Bailly and closing on deals for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Their spending is unlikely to stop there either, and bookies have cut their prices on United signing two further players over the past 24 hours.

Bookies Bet Stars have slashed odds on the Red Devils signing Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane, with United clear favourites for his signature at 15/8. Bayern Munich follow at 9/4.

Varane, a two time Champions League winner at 23, was signed by Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid and his future is in doubt, with the Express reporting he is keen to leave, with Real preferring Pepe and Sergio Ramos in central defence.

He missed out on Euro 2016 due to a minor injury from which he has since recovered, and so is available for United to push through a move.

Another player who United are heavily backed to sign is Turkish wonderkid Ozan Tufan, who plays for Fenerbahce.

Bet Stars price Tufan also at 15/8, with Ian Marmion, Trading Director at BetStars telling HITC Sport: "After a flurry of bets in the last 24 hours, Manchester United have emerged as overwhelming 15/8 favourites to sign him.”

Tufan, 21, is a central midfielder who already has 27 international caps for Turkey, featuring in all three Euro 2016 games for his country and scoring once.
