Leeds United are reportedly interested in signing Kyle Bartley from Swansea City.
Leeds United supporters appear to be excited by the rumours that Swansea City centre-back Kyle Bartley is close to making a move to Elland Road.
Bartley is believed to be set to join Leeds on a season-long loan from the Welsh club (Yorkshire Evening Post).
The rumours have enthused Leeds fans, with the reaction on social media site Twitter being very positive.
Kyle Bartley to Leeds ummm worth a punt at 25 he's probably better than Bamba #lufc— James (@jimmy_L_UFC) June 27, 2016
Kyle Bartley next then Leon Britton plus a keeper to replace Silvestri like Button, Camp or Grant and that's just a start @LUFC— Darren (@leedsfc9) June 28, 2016
Bartley has not played for Swansea in 2016, but he is still very well regarded.
The 25-year-old has impressed in many of his displays, and he has also got a proven track record in the Championship.
Leeds fans certainly seem to believe that Bartley would be an upgrade on Garry Monk’s current options.
Leeds have Giuseppe Bellusci, Liam Cooper and Sol Bamba currently battling it out for a starting spot, but none of the trio are without their critics.
Cooper looks the most likely partner for Bartley, if the Swansea man moves to Elland Road, while Bellusci could move on.
