Millwall have put a price tag of £2 million on Lee Gregory, according to The Sun.

The British tabloid claims that several Championship clubs are interested in signing the striker in the summer transfer window.

However, according to the report, the £2m price tag on the 27-year-old may put off those interested clubs from making moves.

According to a report in The Daily Mail earlier this month, Scottish Premiership giants Celtic are interested in signing Gregory in the summer transfer window.

Championship clubs Sheffield Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers are also reportedly monitoring the former Halifax Town striker.

The Daily Mail reported last month that Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion are keen on the striker.

Gregory has been on the books of Millwall since the summer of 2014 and has a contract until June 2017, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

The former Halifax striker was in brilliant form for Millwall last season, scoring 27 goals and helping them reach the League One playoffs.

However, £2m as transfer fee for a striker who was playing in League One last season sounds steep.
