Leeds United appear to be on the verge of a new signing.
The 25-year-old Kalmar forward is believed to have agreed terms regarding a switch to Elland Road and the latest report claims Antonsson has been training with Leeds ahead of his proposed move – seemingly backing up those claims following a blurry image on the club’s official Twitter account.
New Leeds manager Garry Monk will be keen to bring in new players that can help him in his bid to earn promotion back to the Premier League in his first season at the helm, and a new goal-scorer was always going to be high on his list of priorities given the Whites’ struggles in that area last season.
Antonsson has scored 13 goals in just 18 matches for Kalmar this season and if he can transfer that good form to England he will be an instant hit at Leeds.
The rumours surrounding the player have been doing the rounds for a while now. However, if the latest report is true it seems by the close of business tomorrow Leeds will have an exciting new player in their ranks.
