The out-of-form Tottenham Hotspur man needs a goal.
The Tottenham Hotspur hitman scored 25 Premier League goals last season but he has struggled to bring that free-scoring form to France with him, failing to find the net in any of England's three Group games - he only started two of them
It was suggested that the 22-year-old was suffering from fatigue following a long and tough season with Tottenham, but a stint on the bench for the 0-0 draw with Slovakia was a welcome chance for him to recharge the batteries.
It remains to be seen if he starts toinght's second-round encounter with Iceland, but if he does, Arsenal legend Parlour believes the Spurs marksman could go on to fire them into the final if he ends his drought this evening.
"The way he played at Spurs last year, the chances he took, I think he just needs a goal now," he told Sky Sports.
"And if he can get a goal on Monday against Iceland, then that may put him in good stead moving forward to the quarter and semi-finals. And who knows, he could take England all the way to the final."
Kane won't be overly concerned about his drought. After all, he went nine games without a goal for Spurs at the start of last season, before answering his critics by winning the Golden Boot some eight months later.
