Another promising Tottenham Hotspur teenager has made headlines this month.
Tottenham Hotspur have a number of exciting young players coming through the ranks right now, but when it comes to under-14 level there is one teenager who laid down a pretty impressive marker during the Cayman Airways Youth Cup earlier this month.
Tottenham’s youngsters had just kicked off against Harbour View FC when Noni Madeuke went on a solo run that saw him beat player after player before calmly finishing past the helpless goalkeeper with just 40 seconds on the clock.
Of course it is nigh on impossible to determine whether a moment of brilliance in an under-14 match is a sign of superstardom or as good as it gets, but the composure with which the Tottenham youngster danced past defenders suggests he is definitely one to watch.
Tottenham have shown they are not afraid to give teenagers a chance at higher levels, as the likes of Shayon Harrison and Cameron Carter-Vickers have proved in excelling with the under-21s, so Madeuke will be hoping to get some chances with the under-18s in the coming years.
