Speaking to Rangers' official website, midfielder Jason Holt is relishing the club's pre-season trip to USA, claiming all the players will enjoy it.
It promises to be a huge season for Rangers as Mark Warburton's side prepare for their big return to the Scottish Premiership after a four-year absence.
Before that, though, the Gers are gearing up for a visit to South Carolina, where they will face USL side Charleston Battery in their one and only match of the trip.
Holt acknowledges that the 10-day long workout will be harsh, but says he and his team-mates will enjoy it nonetheless
“It’ll be a good trip, I’m sure it’s going to be really hard work, but it’s going to be enjoyable too," he told the club's official website.
"We’re away for ten days and in the same place, so I’m sure all of the boys will really enjoy it.”
Holt will be hoping to replicate the Championship form he showed last season in the big time next term.
The 23-year-old netted 12 times from 45 games last term, but he has plenty of incentive to scale similar heights next time as Rangers have added plenty of midfield talent to their ranks already this summer, increasing the level of competition for places.
