The Chilean lifted a trophy following a tough one with Arsenal.
Alexis Sanchez helped Chile to Copa America Centenario success this morning.
The Chileans beat Lionel Messi and Argentina 4-2 on penalties a little earlier today, after the contest finished 0-0 following two hours of football, to follow up their Copa triumph of 12 months ago.
There was added bonus for Arsenal fans as their hero Sanchez was named as Player of the Tournament, and Gunners supporters were happy for him afterwards.
So, we can safely say that Alexis is better than Messi. Right? #COYG— Ahmad Saied (@asaied) June 27, 2016
You know Alexis Sanchez is taking a long vacation after this. First game is against Liverpool. #COYG— Tony Stank (@_CarneEstrada) June 27, 2016

Sanchez missed out on a trophy last season with Arsenal, so fans of the North London club will be that bit happier for the South American wizard.
It was a hugely disappointing season but manager Arsene Wenger will be determined to make up for it next time around in what might be his final year in charge of the club.
Wenger, who joined Arsenal in 1996, is out of contract next summer and it remains to be seen if another one will be offered.
