A combination of injuries as well as the emergence of Hector Bellerin has meant that Debuchy was unable to establish himself as a regular for the Arsenal first-team and as a result it is widely expected that the Frenchman will be leaving the Gunners this summer.
Debuchy had made a loan move to French side Bordeaux during the second half of last season but he did not enjoy the best of spells at the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux and an injury meant that the defender also went on to miss out on a spot in the French national team for the European Championships.
Debuchy’s destination this summer very much remains subject to much speculation but according to reports from Deporte Valenciano, the 30-year-old could well end up at Spanish side Valencia.
Current Valencia right-back Antonio Barragan is widely expected to be leaving the Mestalla over the summer and the Spanish giants are currently believed to be actively looking to find replacements for the 29-year-old.
Reports state that the Valencia hierarchy have identified Debuchy as a potential replacement for Barragan and are hopeful of landing the Frenchman for a cut price deal.
