According to BBC Sport, Southampton star Sadio Mane will undergo a medical with Liverpool on Monday ahead of a £30m move to Anfield.
The Reds have already added goalkeeper Loris Karius and defender Joel Matip to their ranks this summer, but now manager Jurgen Klopp has turned his attention to attacking reinforcements.
With a move for Mario Gotze seemingly impossible, Liverpool have now moved to raid Southampton yet again - and a deal for Sadio Mane has seemingly been agreed.
BBC Sport report that a deal worth in excess of £30m has been sealed between the two clubs, representing a blockbuster deal for Liverpool, up there with fees paid for Andy Carroll and Christian Benteke in recent years.
Mane, 24, has become one of the Premier League's most dangerous attackers since joining Southampton from Red Bull Salzburg back in the summer of 2014, terrorising defences with his blistering pace.
After ten goals in his first season with the Saints, Mane hit 17 goals in all competitions last season, adding another six assists in a strong campaign for the Senegal international.
Now, he's off to Liverpool and will undergo a medical with the Reds on Monday, after manager Klopp made Mane a priority target for the club.
It's a blow for Southampton, who had already lost Nathaniel Clyne, Dejan Lovren, Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert to Liverpool in the last two years - and now Mane will be joining them on Merseyside in a huge transfer.
Do you think Mane is a good signing for Liverpool?
