Crystal Palace assistant manager Keith Millen has refused to rule out losing star defender Scott Dann this summer.

Dann enjoyed another fine season for Palace last term, helping the club reach the FA Cup final and secure Premier League survival.

Dann, who made 42 appearances for Palace last season and scored five goals, has estalished himself as a one of the best central defenders in the Premier League after impressing for Palace since his arrival at Selhurst Park in January 2014.

The 28-year-old has won the club's player of the year award for the last two seasons and was rewarded with a new five-year deal for his progress last summer.

A number of clubs are thought to be keeping tabs on Dann's situation this summer as they look to bolster their defensive options.

New Everton boss Ronald Koeman is reported to have made Dann one of his top targets since taking over at Goodison Park having held an interest in the former Blackburn man while he was in charge of Southampton.

Millen insists the club are under no pressure to sell Dann, but conceded he cannot guarantee he will remain at the club if the right offer is made for him.

“It is nice, in a way, that you get speculation with your players from top teams," Millen told South London Today.

“Scott has done well this season and been one of our main players. We don’t need to sell players for the money - that’s for sure.

“We don’t want to lose Scott - we want to build our team around him. There is going to be speculation with Everton, like there was before, but he signed a new contract last year.

“He has had another good year for us. You never know in football but we certainly don’t want to be losing our best players.”
