Arsenal are set to revive their interest in Islam Slimani after Jamie Vardy snubbed a move to the Emirates, reports Portuguese outlet A Bola.
Arsene Wenger had put the Leicester City hit man on his wish list for the summer, as he looks to add a striker to his squad.
They made a move for his services before Euro 2016 as they activated a £20million release clause in his contract.

The Foxes star turned down the move this week though, instead opting to sign a new four-year deal to stay at the Kingpower Stadium on Thursday.
That has led Wenger to look at other options and according to A Bola, the Sporting CP striker is one of those he will consider.
The Algeria international scored 31 goals in 46 matches across all competitions last season, form that has sparked widespread interest in his services this summer.
The striker did have a €30million release clause, around £22million, in his contract, but that has now expired.
His current club would surely seek a price higher than that to part with their star man and it remains to be seen what sort of price it would take should Arsenal’s interest be serious.
