Spurs star Dele Alli has revealed his tip for the lead role in a film about the life of club and country team-mate Eric Dier, in a Q&A video on FATV.

The midfield duo have taken social media by storm with their blossoming bromance, and Alli has now shared his thoughts on who best to play Dier on the silver screen.

“I don’t know many actors but I’ll have to say… who’s the one with curly hair in Superbad? Yeah Jonah Hill,” said the former MK Dons man.

“No resemblance it’s just funny and they have the same sort of figure. You haven’t seen Eric with his top off…”

Dier’s Jonah Hill-like figure hasn’t prevented him from impressing on the international stage and he is quickly becoming one of England’s most consistent performers.

Alli meanwhile, has struggled to hit top form so far in the Euros but with England making it into the last 16 after yesterday’s draw with Slovakia, he’ll have another chance to shine.

The Q&A session provided further insight into the mind of the mercurial talent with his admission that Wayne Rooney has been the best player he’s trained with at England.

Alli also let it be known that he regards Steven Gerrard as England’s finest ever player and that his goal against France in the recent friendly at Wembley is his greatest football moment to date.
