Ipswich Town missed out on one of the Championship playoff places last season by the slightest of margins and one can be sure that the Tractors Boys will be very determined to mount another promotion charge during the upcoming campaign.
With the competition in the division getting fiercer though, Ipswich will most certainly have to strengthen their squad this summer and manager Mick McCarthy is believed to be weighing up various transfer targets at the moment.
The winger was a revelation last season, where he managed to impress during his six month loan spell at Colchester United, scoring 5 goals and providing 8 assists.
Harriott then made a return to Charlton in January and while the 22-year-old was unable to prevent the Addicks from suffering relegation, his performances caught the eye of many.
As a result, Harriott has been attracting the interest from numerous clubs and the South London Today state that Championship side Ipswich are keen on signing the Charlton star.
Charlton only recently extended Harriott’s contract till 2017 but it seems likely that the League One outfit could cash in on the youngster if a good offer comes along in order to avoid losing him for free next season.
