According to Sky Sports' Transfer Centre LIVE! (17:41, June 24), Bradford City are lining up a move for Nicky Law following his release from Rangers at the end of the 2015-16 season.

The report claims that the League One side are looking at the free agent market in order to strengthen their squad, and have lined up deals Millwall’s Mark Beevers and ex-Rangers man Law.

Law spent three seasons at Ibrox before leaving the Scottish Premiership club at the end of the 2015-16 campaign, helping the Glasgow side return to the top flight.

The former Rotherham United man was a key figure for Rangers during his first two years at the club, playing a total of 68 league matches and scoring an impressive 19 goals from midfield.

However, last season he struggled for game time with the Gers amid increased competition for places under boss Mark Warburton, making just 18 league appearances over the course of the campaign.

Bradford reached the League One playoffs last term, but they were beaten in the semi-finals by Millwall.

The Yorkshire side will fancy their chances of having another crack at promotion next season, and in Law they could have a midfielder capable of chipping in with his fair share of key goals.

The 28-year-old midfielder has played for Bradford before, enjoying two successful loan spells at the Valley Parade club while on the books of fellow Yorkshire side Sheffield Unted.
