Sunderland's Yann M'Vila celebrates at the end of the match
Sunderland face weeks of negotiations with Rubin Kazan to make Yann M'Vila's loan move from the club a permanent deal, according to a report in the Sunderland Echo.
The Black Cats, along with the player, were hoping that Kazan would terminate the remaining six months in his contract by mutual consent, but they are holding out for a hefty transfer fee - and are under no pressure to sell.
There is a permanent clause in the loan agreement that was struck last season in order to bring M'Vila to the Stadium of Light but Sunderland are trying to negotiate a better fee for them - though they are confident of finding some common ground with the Russian club in order to conclude a deal.

The 25-year-old make 40 appearances for the Black Cats in all competitions last season, scoring one goal.
M'Vila has returned to Russia to link up with Kazan for pre-season training, but there is no future for him at the club - with manager Javi Garcia insisting that all players report for the start of pre-season, even if they had spent time out on loan.

Manager Sam Allardyce will want to build on the side's finish to the season which saw them avoid relegation yet again, but he will want something of smoother time of things next term so they don't have the worries they have had of the last four seasons.
