However, according to the Chronicle, senior sources at the club believe that the majority of the incomings this summer will be permanent signings rather than loan deals.
While they are not ruling out any potential short-term recruits, there is a belief that the club will struggle to secure the top talent on loan.

That is because they feel that St James Park is not an attractive destination for Premier League sides to send their top talent, as Benitez cannot promise game time.
