Niko Kranjcar - Tottenham Hotspur warms up
The midfielder became Rangers sixth signing of the summer after he completed a move from New York Cosmos. He has agreed a two-year deal at Ibrox as they look to make a big impact upon their Scottish Premiership this season.
Rangers manager Mark Warburton celebrates at the end of the match
He is the latest experienced recruit to arrive at the club as Warburton seeks to add much needed experience to his relatively young Gers squad this summer.
And he says Kranjcar’s arrival shows their desire to achieve a balance between youth and experience in the playing squad.
“We are delighted to secure a player of Niko’s undoubted qualities and very much look forward to welcoming him to the club,” he told rangers.co.uk.
“Such a signing shows our desire to achieve a positive balance between young, hungry players and the undoubted necessity of experience and maturity.”

It now remains to be seen what other work that Warburton looks to do in the summer transfer market.
He has already added vast experience to his squad, with the likes of Joey Barton and Kranjcar in particular having starred in the English Premier League over the years.
His next signing will surely be focused on improving the defence, with just Clint Hill and Matt Crooks having arrived to strengthen that area of the team so far.
