He is the latest staff member to arrive at the club, with Ronald Koeman adding several new faces to the backroom staff as his era at the club gets underway.

Kluitenberg is one of those to have arrived in recent weeks, having followed Koeman and his brother Erwin to Everton when he completed his move from Southampton. And Kluitenberg has taken to Twitter to welcome his new colleague to the club.

With Koeman having now have seemingly completed his backroom staff appointments at the club, attention now turns to the matter of the transfer window.

The Blues are expected to be busy in this summer, with Farhad Moshiri reportedly giving Koeman big funds to transform the squad he has inherited from Roberto Martinez.

Chief among his plans will first be convincing his star men to stay though, with Romelu Lukaku and John Stones both linked with moves away.
