According to reports from UOL, Manchester City have entered talks over the acquisition of Brazilian wonderkid Everton.
The appointment of Pep Guardiola means that City are sure to attract a number of high profile players to the Etihad Stadium this summer and plenty of star names have already been mentioned as potential targets for the Citizens.
However, Guardiola is seemingly not only targeting world class names at the moment and the Spanish manager is said to have made recruiting young players another priority.
City have reportedly been monitoring Everton since 2012, and with the 20-year-old now having broken into the Gremio first-team the Premier League side are said to be ready to finally make their move in December.
City’s plan is to allow Everton to finish the campaign in Brazil and then make a move for the forward on loan this winter, with a view to a permanent transfer if he manages to impress during his time with the club.
