Alex Pritchard is back at White Hart Lane following a spell at West Bromwich Albion.

Pritchard, who shone on loan at Brentford in 2014-15, prompting a call-up to England's squad for the European Under-21 Championship, signed a new four-year deal with the Londoners last summer.
However, injury has hindered the 23-year-old's progress and he was loaned out again, this time to Premier League West Bromwich Albion, to little success.

The Baggies called on Pritchard's services just four times in as many months and he returns to Tottenham with his future uncertain.
Newcastle dropped out of the Premier League last season and manager Rafa Benitez has been linked with a host of second tier stars as he looks to mount an immediate assault on promotion.

And signing Pritchard, who was named in the divisional team of the year the last time he appeared at that level, would be a step towards achieving that goal.
