Tottenham Hotspur are still interested in signing Saido Berahino from West Bromwich Albion in the summer transfer window, according to The Guardian.

The Times reported last week that Tottenham have dropped out of the race to sign the 22-year-old striker.

However, it has now been reported by The Guardian that Berahino remains a target for Spurs head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

“His priority is to sign a striker – in order to provide support for Harry Kane – and Marseille’s Michy Batshuayi is prominent on his list of targets,” states the report in The Guardian. “So, too, is West Bromwich Albion’s Saido Berahino.”

Tottenham, though, are not the only Premier League club (reportedly) interested in signing the former England Under-21 international.

According to The Mirror, Crystal Palace, Stoke City, Watford and Everton are tracking Berahino as well.

The Mirror also claimed last week that West Brom are ready to offer the youngster to West Ham United in a swap deal for Diafra Sakho.

Berahino scored four goals and created 18 chances in 31 Premier League appearances for the Baggies during the 2015-16 campaign.

The youngster had a pass accuracy of 78% and a shot accuracy of 44%, and won eight headers, 18 dribbles and 14 tackles.
