Arsenal are hoping to have a new contract for Hector Bellerin secured by the end of Euro 2016, reports Sport.es.

The full back is a first team star at the Emirates after establishing himself as the first choice right back over the last two seasons.

At just 21-years-old, he still has the potential to develop into one of the best right backs in world football should he continue his current rate of development.

His displays for the Gunners have not gone unnoticed with newspaper El Confidencial reporting that his call up to the Spain squad for Euro 2016 has made Barcelona very interested in his services.

Arsenal are naturally keen to keep hold of him, and according to the Mirror are set to offer him a new extended deal to stay at the Emirates.

Sport confirms that, adding that they have already contacted his agent Albert Botines with a new offer. Should he agree to the new deal, it will see him increase his wages as well as an extension to his current deal, which runs out in 2019.

As far as the report is concerned, they are hoping to have the deal concluded by the end of Euro 2016, with Wenger conscious of the number of teams that could target his young star.
