QPR agree deal for Polish international

HITC Sport understands QPR have agreed a deal for the Polish international.

Queens Park Rangers have agreed a deal to sign Legia Warsaw midfielder Ariel Borysiuk, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

QPR have been chasing Borysiuk most of the summer and they now look likely to land the Polish international.

The Championship side are understood to have agreed a fee in the region of £800,000 with Legia for Borysiuk and the player has held talks and undergone a medical with the West London club.

QPR boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is keen to strengthen his squad this summer and he has made Borysiuk one of his top targets.

Defensive midfielder Borysiuk started his career at Legia and returned to the club during the January transfer window following spells at Lechia Gdansk and German side Kaiserslautern

Borysiuk made 13 appearances for Legia since his return to the club and QPR have been keeping tabs on his progress ever since.

A source close to the negotiations has told HITC that the move to Loftus Road should be confirmed in the next 24 hours to make Borysiuk QPR's first signing of the summer as they plan ahead of next season.
