Jindrich Stanek has taken to social networking site Twitter to send a message to Everton following his release by the club.

The young goalkeeper is set to leave the club at the end of this month when his current contract comes to an end. They have decided not to hand the youngster an improved deal as he joins several others in departing Goodison Park.

His exit brings an end to a two-year stint on Merseyside, having joined at the end of the January transfer window in 2014.

He failed to make a senior appearance for the club, with a place on the bench in February this year the closest he got to making one.

Nonetheless, he was not bitter about the decision, instead thanking for the experience and wishing the club all the best for the future in his post on Twitter.

Stanek will now be hoping to find himself a new club this summer and establish himself there instead.

There is certainly a precedent of former Everton goalkeepers doing that, with John Ruddy the most famous example and the youngster will be keen to follow in his footsteps.
