According to the Liverpool Echo, the striker is highly regarded by Jurgen Klopp, who believes that the forward will have a key role to play in the 2016/17 campaign.
Indeed, as far as they are concerned he will be competing with Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi for the role as Liverpool’s first choice striker.
The feeling from Klopp is that his energy will make him a good fit for the brand of high intensity football that he wants his side to play and an exit will not be happening.
