According to the Daily Mirror, England boss Roy Hodgson is set to make six changes to his team for their match against Slovakia tonight.

England take on Slovakia needing a victory to secure top spot in the group.

There is still a pattern of results which could knock the Three Lions out, but Hodgson appears to be prepared to take a risk.

The former Fulham and West Brom boss is willing to make wholesale alterations to his side, to give some players a rest.

Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane and Dele Alli, and Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling are all set to drop out, with Jack Wilshere, Jordan Henderson, Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge set to come in.

Perhaps the most surprising changes come at full-back though, with Hodgson prepared to drop Tottenham’s Danny Rose and Kyle Walker.

Walker and Rose have been two of England’s standout players to date, but Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand and Liverpool’s Nathaniel Clyne are expected to be given their first minutes at the tournament.

If England beat Slovakia to secure top spot, they look most likely to face Albania in the next round.
